How to create the life you really want to have.
We tend to think in huge course shifts - we want to make a really big change at once. But it just doesn`t work!
The most powerful thing about marketing: deliver more value than your clients were expecting from you.
Actual principles how real transformation works:
It`s the small changes that make the difference.
When you push your body you get into a meditative state. Your body will reward you with dopamine if you do what you love.
Hedonism is a survival strategy.
Your body will reward you with dopamine if you do what is good for your survival.
Western people`s reward system has been confused by our modern environment.
When we try to make shifts in our lives, it`s so hard because our reward system rewards us for the wrong things (donuts, Facebook etc.).
Concept of pleasure fasting: don`t seek out for pleasure for a day of two. A fast from using social media and eating sugar.
The more you don`t want to do it, the more you need to do it.
Our pleasure system has been so bombarded by food industry, social media etc.
We become slaves to chasing pleasure because the more we seek pleasure the less pleasure it will give us and we start to seek even more.
If you overindulge it, it becomes less pleasurable.
If you don`t use social media consciously, it will use you.
Conscious hedonism:
I`m going to seek pleasure and be aware of the consequences of the pleasure. (You may eat a donut once but you don`t need it the next day)
Any behaviour or emotional state that you reward, you will want to repeat.
Don`t reward your bad mood with good food. Then your body will make you feel bad in the future to get that food. If you get chocolate to improve your mood - you will reward your bad mood.
Find a way to fulfill your needs in positive ways.
When you learn to reward the behaviour you want to keep, you will keep it. Reward the behaviour you want to keep.
Work on not rewarding the behaviour you want to change.
If you want to get rid of the bad behaviour, you stop rewarding it - even with healthier options than sugar.
A pattern interrupt: If this thought comes to your head : “This is really hard!” > “Is going on a bike ride going to make it easier or harder?”
If the answer is no, don`t choose it.
If you stick to your task, you have to celebrate it later - then your body says: “Whatever we just did, was awesome and we need to repeat it!”
Once you have started, you will keep going.
When you want to change a behaviour, you have to start thinking how to produce the right chemicals.
If you try to suppress bad chemicals, they will still stay there.
You need to flush these bad chemicals away!
At first you need to stay healthy - put the good stuff in.
You need to move your body (go for a walk).
To wash out an emotion you have to experience it fully and face it all the way.
When you are afraid you have to dive in and feel it fully.
When we are stressed we see the world more pessimistically. Realise that actually nothing bad is going to happen.
Cortisol - stress chemical.
Think - what`s the worst that can happen and face it.
Happiness is an inside job!
If you suppress the emotion, it will come out another time. Really feel the emotion and let it all go!
Emotional states can become addictive.
Celebrate if you overcome something really difficult!
When you make little changes in your quantums (beliefs, rules, values etc.) you will change your destiny.
If you try to depend on your willpower, you will fail!
FOMO - fear of missing out.
The more successful you become, the more things you have to learn to say “NO” to.
If you want to become successful, you have to learn how to deal with missing out.
Turn FOMO into JOMO - Joy of missing out.

Between a stimulus and a response there`s a small gap and in that gap lies your freedom to choose your reaction.
Superconsciousness - when your automatic behaviours and your conscious mind are aligned.
Beliefs are like filters through which you see the world.
Evolution gap - a gap between our evolutionary development and our current society.
Pay attention to rewarding or not rewarding your behaviours.
Try some pleasure fasting.
