Limiting beliefs about money

Some say that beliefs run 95% of our behaviour.

We see the world through the filter of our beliefs and are constantly looking for confirmation of those beliefs.

Beliefs> Thoughts> Feelings> Actions> Results

We have often been taught in our childhood that the rich are greedy and selfish, it is not possible to get rich in an honest way, money does not grow on trees and so on.
If we have a negative attitude towards money, it will not allow us to earn more money, because nobody wants to be a “bad” person. If we should get a large amount of money from somewhere, we need to get rid of it quickly, because nobody wants to be "greedy" and get condemned by others.
When we have bad beliefs about money, it can be devastating to our financial situation.

In March 2017, I attended T. Harv Eker's workshop "Millionaire Mind Intensive". We spent a lot of time there changing our limiting beliefs about money.

Sometimes we are not even aware of those beliefs that we have. Luckily T. Harv Eker has made a list of the most common damaging beliefs about money and I would like to bring this list to you. If you realise you have one of those beliefs then you can finally start changing it.

Before you start reading this list, please take a pen and paper nearby and evaluate each of these statements on a scale from 1-10 (1 means - I don't believe it very much, 10 means I believe it completely).

Why is it necessary? I think it's better if I explain it after the list so it doesn't affect the rating.

So here's the list:

1. Money is the root of all evil.

2. Being poor is much more spiritual and noble than being rich.

Now that these statements have been evaluated, draw a circle around the numbers that scored 5 or higher.

If you want to improve your financial situation, you need to take a more critical look at these beliefs and start changing them. Otherwise, it is simply not possible to improve your financial situation, because these beliefs just do not allow you to see other options.

To start changing those limiting beliefs, you need to start finding an opposite to each of those beliefs with a score higher than 5 (and if you want to really take it to the next level - for other beliefs in the list as well).

Ror example: Rich people have probably made their money in some dishonest way. > To get rich, you have to provide people products and services that they really need and are willing to pay money for.

In order to get rich, you need to take advantage of other people. > When I offer people win-win deals, then people will trust me, want to work with me and start to offer me a lot of good opportunities for cooperation.

For a very long time, I had a limiting belief that money can only come with hard work and I was not even aware that I had this belief - I finally realized it at the “Millionaire Mind” event. I replaced this old limiting belief with "Money comes to me easily" and to my surprise I started seeing completely new ways to earn money much more easily. Before that, I didn't even see those possibilities, because I didn't believe it was even possible.
